You need to consider what the sq inches of radiator they use to cool
the tdi. Generally they size them for optimal cooling, granted that's
for pushing around a car that weighs twice as much as a bug. I think
you could get away with something smaller but you will need fans on it
that run pretty much all the time or that you have a manual bypass
switch so you can turn them on while at lights in the warmer weather.
