[Vwdiesel] 82 VW Rabbit with no lap belt

A perfect solution Brian.
We change belts out every two years in a race car for a very good
reason, they get old and don't perform as intended, and they are
intended to work, and work well.
I would NEVER use wrecking yard belts, you never know how well they were
used, maybe some pretty hard depending on the car it came out of.
Biggest enemy of belts is UV. The problem with the door mounted ones
and shoulder belts alike, is the amount of UV exposure they have had
over the years. I would not trust them, even tho I have seen them take
unbelievable punishment over the years on various applications on the
farm (tarp latches etc).
