Thank all of you for the quick response! Now individual responses:
Loren, thanks for the suggestion. Will try this.
Erik Lane, I was able print the exploded view of the IP. This is what I wanted. Don't think I want to attempt am IP pump rebuild. Pump & engine turn over. No crunching expensive noises. In pulling back the distribution block #50I left two, bolts partially seated so #50 would only come out far enough to remove "O" ring #810 & replace with a green colored ring supplied in the rebuild kit. The party in Georgia I bought the repair kit from advised how to do this with out letting the "insides" get loose. Any cross reference describing the name of the part linked to the part number?
Rudy, I have heard of VW Vortex but not VWGTD. Wasn't able to navigate the VW Parts source for info, yet.
David Ross, How many pages if I print the repair instructions on PDF & ZIP, or pages & pictures the same. Don't object to printing a number of pages up to 100 or more, just want to be prepared. What is your website? Yes, I would like to copy the manual.
In respect to the fuel cut off solenoid, I would suspect that the plunger should be attached to the plunger so it could move up & not be loose with the small coil spring forcing the plunger down to shut off the fuel supply. How do I re attach the plunger to the solenoid? Or is it supposed to remain attached & is my solenoid defective, although I can hear it click, but not as loud as before. If I need a new IP fuel shut off solenoid, can I buy it separately & where?
Again, thanks for the response & I hope this discussion is a help to others.
