[Vwdiesel] Continued taillight trouble

  I've seen two things cause similar problems.  One is a bad ground 
as you know, that seeks ground through another item on a tied in 
ground track or on the positive side that isn't on.  Thus when one 
is feeding back through a parking light's ground, the problem light 
goes out when the parking light goes on even though both were 
on before powering up the parking light and so on.
  The other I found was an isolating type trailer light setup on my 
Dasher.  I finally disconnected the whole unit and all was well.  I 
didn't use it anyway so it stayed that way.
