Correct me if I am wrong but VW still does make the caddy/truck. Just not in the use and from the pictures I have found not on the same side for driving (steering on the right side). Looks mostly the same with a few changes. Just like Ford having a diesel in Europe. We will just never see these vehicals because of our joke emissions. You would think that using less fuel would mean less crap in the air over all (not in all cases) but I guess we are stuck with most diesels getting 15 MPG rather then 50 MPG. Not to mention the safty reasons they don't bring some here. Maybe if we didn't all drive Semi truck sized vehicles we wouldn't need to have something that has to protect you from crashing into those same big vehicles. Just my own rant of what frustraits me.

On a side note for safety. I found out today that if you never rotate your tires and you wear out just one pair (front or back) you always want to put the better tires on the back. That is more important with water and snow. The car will go the direction of the best tires and if it is in the front and you hydroplan you are going to spin out. If in the back you may just go straight of the road. Same for the snow tires though which is why you should have all 4 tires snow tires. I personally found out at a tire testing site today and my thoughts have been corrected (after doing a couple 180's on the test track).
