Hey everyone,

I've been on this list for 7 or 8 years now, and read about many issues, seen issues resolved, had some of my own issues resolved, etc.  I've never seen any of your vehicles, however.  I think it's time for us to put car faces with the names around here. :-)

I'll start:

The Rabbit - 1981 Rabbit diesel with 316K miles on it.  This car was purchased by my father new in 1981, and I drove it through college.  He was going to junk it in 1999, and I decided to try my hand at a restoration of sorts.

The Golf - 2001 Golf GLS TDI with 185K miles on it.  I bought this car new on 2/12/2001 at the local VW dealer.  It's been the best car I've ever owned.
