  At least until the "Monsoon" radio, most of the VW radios were 
crap.  At first I thought it was just audiophiles being overly 
critical.  Then when Dad got his Passat and it'd only get one or 
two stations, ALL ACROSS the spectrum, I realized they weren't 
being overly critical!  Mine's better but reception and quality are 
indeed mediocre.
