[Vwdiesel] EGR popped!

Depending on where you live, I'd be all about eliminating it all together. 
There is a pipe that they sell online to bypass it, I've seen it on several 
customer cars.

However, if you have smog checks, obviously you are stuck with it. Then 
again, you should be able to get one cheap used. The dealerships replace 
them most of the time, instead of cleaning them. Same with intake manifolds 
and EGR coolers.
