To check the solenoid, just unscrew it, pull the plunger (some
have somewhat of a detent, some just fall out) then screw the body
back in. This will allow fuel to be injected. You'll have to "kill" the
engine to shut it off since you've now removed the shut off plunger.
You may have to crank a little to get fuel through everything but
no need to bleed.
