  Turbo looks like it should develop more boost than the stock TD 
turbo but this has no controller.  I believe the dashpot is just that 
rather than spring controlled boost control.  You need a boost 
controller.  You also need a turbo oil pan for the oil return.  At least 
it's a center dump manifold unlike trying to fab a Quantum manifold 
into a Rabbit or Jetta.  
  You'll also have to fabricate air filter to turbo and turbo to intake 
manifold plumbing.  Factory TD stuff is one aluminum elbow, one 
rubber one and one intake boot.  Then there's the breather hose 
to fab in, intercooler...
  TD stuff goes for about the same price or less when you can find 
them and are simple bolt ons.
