  But...  You have to crank it long enough for fuel to START coming 
out of the lines before it can actually drop out of them.  Day's of 
waiting, opening the fuel lines back up, pulling the timing bolt, etc 
all put you back close to square one as far as cranking time.  Most 
people tend to be pretty timid as to how long they crank before 
deciding it's not going to start.  An opened up IP on these things 
generally take more cranking than most people are comfortable 
with.
