Yea, like who'd ever leave a car out in the rain for 6 months, before
putting top coat on, and selling on forecourt as "New, with added secret
inter-spotweld rustpockets"...

Bill the gravity fed drip bag is like at hospital, so all fuel is above pump
and pump vanes need no effort to lift diesl , and , presumably air is free
to percolate out. Mind you, on a Quantum, the fuel [if lifted by the pump]
is down hill towards thepump and up hill back to the tank; a kind of self
priming pocket IMO, only negated by leaks in the fuel offtake lines and the
pumps inability to lift the fuel in the first place... Same goes for a GTD
it would appear ;o) If vanes won't lift, then they wont pressurize the pump
to supply the injector lines so a drip may help this...

NB
I can fill my steel fuel lines with hand cranking engine, with a wratchet
But that's a Quantum [UK] for you! :o)
