Report back per Mark Shepherd & Sandy Cameron. Fabricated an auxiliary gravity fuel tank from an old plastic gas can & return line using a two banjo fuel line from my '80 Dasher parts car for the inlet portion. Signs of diesel fuel at #2, #3, & #4 injectors but still not at #1. Tried starting, still no luck. Will let the gravity set up working till tomorrow but beginning to think maybe my pump wasn't rebuilt right. In case one wonders to ask, I vented my gas can fuel can. Oh, yes, I do hear a click from the fuel solenoid when power applied. Should I leave power to the solenoid while I let the gravity tank do its thing or doesn't it make any difference?
