[Vwdiesel] parking brake cable tubes

Working on my '89 Jetta replacement for Goldie.

I'm looking for the steel tubes at the handbrake lever end of the cables.
the cables plug it to them on the way  to the lever, as they pass from under
the car in to the cabin. mine are all rusted out. 

I hoped they might  be available but my FLAPS drew a blank looking for them. 

Anyone got a VW number for them?

I think, if it rains tomorrow, I'll fabricate a pair from 3/8" ID copper
tubing (rustproof)
