[Vwdiesel] '02 Golf starts/dies

Definately the immobilizer then.  You might call a dealer and see if  
the key can be redone without the car present but I don't think so.   
There is a write up on the Ross Tech website on how to do it  
yourself.  You might try looking at that first.  I guess you already  
said that the car doesn't start with either key fob, right?  Hayden
