[Vwdiesel] injector pump adjustment

When you talk about pushing down and pulling up, are you talking about
rotating the pump to get the timing right? If so then that should stay the
same, because even if somehow wonky the lever on the top is changed, the
pump and engine still rotate the same direction when running, so rotating
the pump one way will advance it relative to the crank and cam, and rotating
it the other way will retard it.
NO way they can manage to change that so easily!
