[Vwdiesel] '02 Golf starts/dies

I've got a 12v inline pump that I got from a FLAPS for like $25 or so. I can't think of any reason it couldn't be installed in a TDI's fuel line and wired to always pump or only be turned on when needed. I doubt it cares if gas or diesel goes through it. I bought it thinking the mechanical fuel pump on my boat was dead, turned out there was a tiny filter in the carb that was blocked... Now I just used it for things like draining old gas out of a tank or something.
