I don't need the gas heater as I live in Calif. but those of you who live in the rust belt or great white north should consider it. I bought my first Citroen, an ID-19 back in 1960 when I was living in Minn. That Citroen was a nice car but the heater was pathetic. That Citroen had a 6 volt system as did the VW Bugs back then. I bought a VW gas heater back then & modified it to work in my ID-19 which then kept me nice & warm in the sub-zero Minn. winters. As I recall, those heaters were made by Stewart Warner. As I recall, the Corvairs had an optional gas heater for those sub-zero climates but ran on 12 volts. Also, I don't think those heaters would run on diesel but I guess you could fabricate a separate gasoline supply to run the gas heater.
