I did some looking around- the dasher, quantum and audi 4000 use the same pump. this is different than the jetta, golf, etc pumps. The difference is the angle and location of the pickup.
when buying these, they don't make a difference between the pump and pickup, but call them all a "pump", even though we know that the pump and pickup are two different parts.
i got a NOS one for about 200$ shipped from VW diesels in Ohio- great plate- i strongly recommend them.
