[Vwdiesel] What exactly holds the A2 front wheel hub in place?	Just the ball joint, perplexed on this one.

There's a rather large bolt through the hub attached to the axle.  Otherwise, it's just the friction fit of the wheelbearing.   Takes A LOT of pressure to remove/install a bearing.
 
Those small bolts just hold assemblies together.
