I had the exact same problem on my Jetta too. It had a toasted
thrust surface on the crank, int. shaft bearings and a worn oil pump.
Rebuilt the engine and the buzzer went off less but still went off.
Replaced the oil pump and it never went off again. Just a new oil
pump probably would've done it. The big one probably wasn't
necessary. Never had problems with these oil pumps but that
thrust surface metal going through it kind of wore it more than
most!
