[Vwdiesel] Acetone/ATF Penetrating Oil Question

For that matter straight diesel does a fine job if you're willing to
wait a while. I keep a jar of old diesel and if I find a rusty tool it
gets to soak in there for a week or more. Usually they'll end up
working like new. (Well, at least usually. Depends on how bad it got,
of course.)

Kerosene and diesel are *extremely* similar. Not quite the same, but
not far off.
