  Didn't get them here, don't think Canada did either.  Couldn't 
hardly get a GTI, and the later ones were more of a trim package, 
you think we'd get a GT DIESEL???  Sheesh, I believe Europe even 
got 4 door versions!  :-P

  Water cooled turbo is to assist cooling the turbo bearings.  You 
can run a water cooled turbo with just the oil cooling/lubrication and 
no water to it at all.  It doesn't cool the boost air, just helps prevent 
coking.
