[Vwdiesel] OT: Looking for engines

I have a friend with a mint ?'89/'90 NA golf diesel who just parked the
whole engine/trans outside my garage.. hes going for a big turbo gas
swap.blah. He says the car stopped running from a bad IP and the people he
got it from gave up. sad.. anyway, I want the trans, but am in the poconos
of Penn and freight would probably be $150 or more.. I'd want $300 for the
long block,, 400 for the long block loaded with IP and accessories. Flexible
on price for Lawful payment(silver/gold)..

I have also been meaning to ask the list where's proper to post want/for
sale ads? like where the audifans list has the marketplace.. vwdiesel.net?
