Brazing worked on mine, still working several years later.

Dismantle the group, or just the clamps so you can get the cracked one out,
then purge it with compressed air, and run some aceton or carb cleaner
through it so it is oil-free squeaky clean, more compressed air to dry it,
then braze.

I got a friend/expert to do the brazing.
