so maybe 2 weeks after everything was running well, felt a substantial loss
of power while driving, then CEL came on
guess I went into limp mode - low power, no boost (but there WAS a
'sweetspot' in acceleration, slowly revving in second - smoking, btw - all
of a sudden there would be more power)
(also, driving 3+ hrs yesterday felt much better when running hot - more
boosty, more normal)
2 codes - MAF and EGR
shop swapped a known good MAF and they said it drove much better
thoughts?
history: bad alternator replacement left turbo intake disconnected - since
then have had to replace almost every valve, gauge, and doohicky in the
turbo chain
(everything *except* MAF
grrr)
