Agreed, if you can get it DRY, it should melt. It should weld back fine.
BUT, to do this right you will most likely need to pull the rad and have it on
the work bench, not an in-place fix that you would be looking for. If the glue
is less then $5 bucks, give it a try maybe? let us know.

is to heat plastic until melted. Push together, pull apart slightly and
then push back together. Stuff a piece of car valve threaded shank in if it
will fit....
I've given up with glues recently, and found if it melts; it will 'weld'
