  Yeah, it kinda killed a lot of the economy of driving a diesel when the 
price 
shot up well above gas.  At one time (when it was about $.30+ more) if you 
made about 30mpg on gas, it was cheaper than 42 or so, with diesel.  :-( 
  Yeah, the torque, dependable starting, not missing, etc IS worth a bit 
more
even so.  I'm just glad that the price difference came closer.  Even with 
farm 
fuel it hardly was calculating out a couple years ago.
