I was recently in Mexico City, and had the opportunity to travel around the 
city in a Polo and a Pointer. We get niether of these. They were both 
Gasoline versions, and seemed plenty peppy. The Pointer reminded me a lot of 
a MK2 GTI 8V. A little stiff around town for the ride concious (my friend 
commented on that) but handled very well. BTW, both were 5-doors.

I'd love to get my hands on a Polo with the 2.0 TDI that's curently in the 
Audi A3. That engine and a GTI type suspension would probably be enough to 
convince me to buy a new car.
