If you'll forgive an ignorant question:  The knuckle would be the part 
Bentley refers to as the wheel bearing housing?  If that's the right 
part, I'd assumed that as a big chunk of cast iron, it'd be one of the 
last to bend, but if they do bend, that would be a prime candidate.
