[Vwdiesel] 1.6 mm head stud kit

Hi Stephen:
	VW makes 11mm stretch bolts for 80's gassers 1.6 and 1.7.they fit
the 11mm 1.5 and 1.6 diesels. My VW Guru in the 80's and 90's rebuilt
hundreds of 1.5 and early 1.6 diesels with VW gasser stretch bolts. He said
he had much better luck holding head gaskets than with the stock non-stretch
bolts.
	I'm about to build a 1.5 and turbo it I have a set of 11mm Raceware
head studs for it. I have an 81 Dasher wagon with a 1.6 turbo block in it
that I have installed 12mm Raceware head studs in years ago. The Raceware
head studs cost a little but they seem to work well and are reusable.

Does anybody make stretch bolts for the 11mm? I really need something that
puts more pressure on the gasket?
