Raymond, when I got my 92 Eco running some year back the front mount was sepeated and just sitting on there. I bought both front and back.
There was Nothing wrong with the back motor mount on the firewall.
I would be glad to send you the one I have if you cover the $5 for shipping.
It is a perfectly good used motor mount that I would love to clear off my shelf.

Subject: [Vwdiesel] question on an engine mount for 91 jetta td going into an older rabbit mount set up auto
I recall someone mentioning a source, if i am correct, of an aftermarket engine mount.
the area in use on the motor is the crank pulley front side. I have a 91 jetta motor, so that mount is on the firewall side of the block, just back from the crank pulley.
I want to put this motor in an older rabbit convertible that has the mount off the front of the block. I understand the jetta motor can be fitted with the rabbit mount, though it would be less work if I could use the type of aftermarket mount i speak of.
