[Vwdiesel] Pw steer and alt brackets needed - non ac applicatio

Hello vw fans,

 

   I am getting closer to having the 1.6 na in a 86 cabrio.

While out of the car the engine has had a new timing belt,

tensioner, clutch and related kit.

 

we started the motor preinstall as it had be 16 months since the motor last ran. all went well.

 

the motor is bolted in now and while i fabricated from stock

brackets, the power steering and alt brackets. I don't feel

entirely satisfied with these brackets. Again I have removed the AC compressor from the config.

 

so, has anyone found factory brackets that will work in this situation.

 

also, is there a design for the tool to install the exhaust "c"

clip that anybody has found to do the job well. maybe i could such a tool on ebay.
