[Vwdiesel] TDI for sale

A friend of mine here in the Dallas area recently had a wreck in his 02 Jetta TDI.  Crash ruined both front fenders, grill, lights bumper and deployed both front air bags (which broke the windshield).  Insurance says it is totaled due to the cost of airbag replacement on top of the other damage.  Car is actually drivable.  He has pretty much settled with his insurance but took the car so that it wouldn't be junked when it is still is a good car.  He would like to sell it to someone who wants a project (something I don't need right now).  He would like to get $2500 for it. I don't have many particulars but know that the vehicle is well kept and the engine just recently had a timing belt change.
