  If the smell is only out the tailpipe then it could be 
buildup/accumulation 
in the exhaust and driving it hard NOW should actually clear that up.  
Making the good mileage kinda indicates it's not likely to be a bad 
injector or a big leak.  Only other thing would be if it's now, for some 
reason, pulling a little more air through the intercooler and sucking 
some of the accumulated oil out of it and the boost tubes and 
making more exhaust smell.
  If you smell it from the fresh, cabin air then look for oil splattered 
from the turbo hose or possibly elsewhere, or look for leaking fuel 
at any connections.
