Tony hits the nail on the head... there's consistently "partial" coolant
changes happening: hose leaks, sticky thermostat, heater core failure,
plastic hose flange cracking, water pump swapping, head gasket failure... if
I could go more than 2 years without one of those occurring, I might start
to think about coolant longevity... but at 20 or more years old, most of our
vehicles will "self-require" opportunities to change coolant.
