[Vwdiesel] Injector data point

Shalyn, it's amazing just how bad injectors can be and still have the
vehicle run reasonably well.
My buddy at the diesel shop showed me some stuff, the injectors were so bad,
the fuel just hosed down the pistons, but it still ran not that bad.  Owner
complained of a loss of power after doing the injectors- a common problem he
tells me.  The old ones when real bad, deliver so much fuel, that you do
indeed have more power, and notice a loss when you correct the situation.

Took the injectors out of the TDI for testing yesterday.  Just for 
reference, they don't last longer than 277,000 miles.  They were all 
hosed in one way or another.  Weirdly, I still had plenty of power and 
48 mpg.
