[Vwdiesel] OT Somewhat--diesel tractor

Thanks, Loren.  This tractor has a frame to which the front axle (it's a 4X4) and body mount.  The battery ground, like in a car, goes to this frame.  I haven't yet found a frame-to-engine block ground, but if there is one, I'll clean that up too.

It indicates that your original ground cable (should run from battery to
block)
is either insufficient or has a bad connection.  It also could indicate
your starter
is getting "old" and using more power.  Probably just a bad ground.

Shouldn't need it.  Most tractors don't connect anything to the sheet
metal and
the frame usually IS the axle, diff, trans, bellhousing and engine.  You do
need a
great ground from the battery to the engine/tranny/starter.
