[Vwdiesel] Diesels in Audi Quattro's - Transplants

Great writeup Tony.

So to put a TDI in a 86ish 4000CSQ... I'd have a problem with bellhousing
not matching up?  Also I guess there's the transverse/longitudinal issue, so
the pan would have to change?  And I seem to remember there being something
weird about the radiator being off to the side...

Of course my ultimate desire would be to put a TDI in a modern vintage A3
Quattro with a 6 speed, but I'm not stupid enough to attempt that project.
