[Vwdiesel] Running a little hot, Radiator a little cool.

Like you said, if you noticed the belts have been squealing, look for
coolant weeping from the weep hole on the water pump. Test the thermostat if
you can't see any leaks, usually there will be a drip or so of coolant
hanging off the water pump before you even try to start the car
