[Vwdiesel] 89 Jetta high mileage

 I am glad to hear he is still with us.  I got quite a few good tips from him 
over the years and would credit him with showing me the light on how the timing 
works on a diesel engine.

  Nope, had a couple short e-mails with him just recently.  Still reads 
the group it seems too.  I'd wondered myself too, not hearing from 
him for a year or two...
