They don't know I took the VC off. They let me take the car overnight - it's
a small town Ford dealer. I saw enough things I hadn't seen earlier to get
discouraged about the car, so I didn't inspect the cam as well as I should
have (didn't bother to turn the engine), and now wish I had. I'm waiting to
hear if they turn up any more records on the car, ideally a record of the TB
done at 160k or anything to indicate the history. If I could get it at 6500
and add 1500 in parts (cam, tb, muffler, wheel bearing) it would be a very
nice car, but that also means a lot of my time doing the work. Guess I could
spend less time at the computer... ;-)
