[Vwdiesel] MK1 Windshield leaks?

That chrome strip is just there for looks. It is either leaking between teh 
seal and the body, or more commonly, the seal and the windshield. How I've 
fixed them in the past is the pull the windshield and put either a small 
bead of urethane or butyl rubber in the groove where the glass fits into.

Silicone is not such a great thing for windshields becuase of the constant 
moving of it.
