[Vwdiesel] A sad day

Just to let you know that  Hagar is dead. He died of cancer yesterday morning, apparently in his kitchen.

I know he could be somewhat irritating, but then again aren't we all  more or less. 

He did inspire some newcomers to work on their old diesels, which is good.

I for one will miss him.


My old piston-valve clashing Quantum just did 57.5mpg [imp] on my first long trip in ages without pulling a trailer.
