[Vwdiesel] A sad day

The person who had sad luck to be the one to find him, was someone with the 
avatar or is it call sign? "Slowbirds", which some of you aircraft buffs may 
recognise.He had spoken to him 9am yesterday, and found him 1pm.

I too regret not finding an excuse to pop acrosss the pond on a holiday and 
passing by...

I put VW diesels right up there with old airplanes, old motorcycles
(the kind that raced, not the kind that "cruised") and a few other
interests that pretty much guarantee interesting and intelligent
company. Hagar was one of those VERY interesting guys that make it
(as in life) so much richer for those privileged to encounter him.
Wish I had the chance to meet him in person.
