The glow plug light is independently timed by the glow plug  relay.  The 
glow plugs are timed by a different circuit basically.   The relay is up under 
the dash with the rest of them, above the left,   driver's foot.  It's the 
one with the BIG, male, spade terminals in a "T"  configuration.  They run 
from $15 to $45 depending on where and  brand.
