You are way behind on the Miata scene. Flying Miata has been stuffing
LSx Chevies into Miatae for a few years now - far nicer than the SBF
that Monster started long ago. Forced induction Miatae are common as
hen's teeth - you can get some very good turbo kits of wide range of
power or some super-reliable and driveable M45 and M62 Eaton
supercharger kits for the NA and NB and even Cosworth has had a go at
the NC (I think their kit is even dealer installed with factory
warranty available).
You would be surprised how many Miata enthusiasts also have TDIs (yeah,
I have a couple too).
