[Vwdiesel] I am looking for a vent window for a VW Rabbit diesel.

I do not know the owner of the car, oddly enough !! He drives a nice early 80's 
vw rabbit, tan, in nice shape.

I see the car parked in a lot that I go by most mornings on the way to work.  I 
now see blue tape on the pass. side vent window to hold it shut, not like it was 
broken out.  I guess the lock broke off, that is what happened to my 1st 70 bug 
a few years back, never did fix it.

Is it easier to take the lock form another vent window and drive a pin out a 
swap it or something or do you have to swap the window?  On the bug, it 
looked easier to swap the windows, but a fairly involved job.


Do anyone have an extra pass. side vent window for a rabbit they could sell me 
for this guy.  It would be a good way to meet him.
