  That just prolonged the inevitible for me.  Usually a few months 
later, it started doing it again and replacing the bendix/starter drive 
was the only fix (or a complete rebuilt starter).  Depends on the 
price.  Used to be only $40 more for a whole starter than either 
a bendix or solenoid.
