[Vwdiesel] Recommendations

Which one what? Bearings?

It's an ALH or AHU isn't it? That's what I'd be noting when making the
order, once dismantled though because hopefully the markings on the bearing
shells are still discernable. Hardly ever see diesels, or gassers for that
matter, that come to me already under/oversized.

Your Bentley manual will have the resources on specs. otherwise.
